A SAYR home Ventilation System uses its smart management system (SMS™) to help maintain a comfortable internal environment. SAYR uses ‘positive pressure’ technology to pressurise the home to help force out the and range of unwanted contaminates, from Volatile organic compounds (VOC’s),  stale carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide rich air, moisture-laden air as well as mould and mildew spores in your home. SAYR’s home ventilation system then replaces it with drier, fresher, and often warmer, filtered air from the roof space; not only improving air quality but helping to control condensation as well.

Condensation isn’t merely water running down your windows, it is so much more. Moisture running down your windows simply means the internal environment has reached dew point. What does this mean? Simply there is so much moisture in the air, at the given temperature it can not hold on to any more and it condenses on surfaces around the home – mainly your windows.

‘Well I’ll just put in a heat pump and make my house warmer.’

Heat pumps are great for heating specific areas, but they will not dehumidify your home while trying to heat it nor will it provide you fresh filtered air. Often by heating the environment you can make the problem worse:

  1. By heating the environment you can mobilize more moisture that has been trapped in your furnishings and carpets etc

  2. By providing a warm moist environment you now have ideal conditions for moulds, mildews and dust mites to thrive. You now have a whole new set of issues to deal with. (See allergies and asthma)

So how do we take care of moisture in the home? After years of development, SAYR has designed a system called SMS™. This is our smart management system and it comes standard in all our home ventilation systems. With SMS, the microprocessor control system measures the environments in the home, in the roof cavity and outside and makes appropriate choices on how to control your internal environment, given your pre selected request. SAYR uses only the best components in it’s systems, for example we only use a hospital grade F7 graduated filters. The graduated filter allows smaller particles to be trapped deeper in the filter and subsequently improving the efficiency of the filter and making it last longer.

Once a SAYR home ventilation system is installed in your home, it will go to work immediately providing a warmer drier healthier environment for you and your family 365 days a year and all for the cost of running a light bulb.
